Glyndebourne

A few weeks ago I was at Glyndebourne for their production of The Mastersingers of Nuremburg. The production was beautifully sunny and light in touch, as befits a plot about young love set at midsummer’s height.

As everyone knows, a good part of the fun also comes from exploring the Glyndebourne grounds

getting serious garden envy

and picnicking between the acts

and generally enjoying the midsummer countryside.
