Of course the national ceramics museum was going to be a site of pilgrimage, whichever country I found myself in – but in Valencia, the collection is in a former palace so there’s also…a whole tiled kitchen, a tower of ceramic flowers under a glass cloche and several improbably muscled torsos draping the front of the building too. Even better it was free in the first Sunday of the month (much like the Barghello in Florence a few posts back).
